Specialist outsourcing firm Link Financial Outsourcing has moved its Caerphilly office to a new, larger location.

The company, which works with a number of pan-European banks, global investors and consumer finance lenders, has taken a 15-year lease on the 21,137 sq ft Brecon House on Caerphilly Business Park.

Link formerly occupied space at Trecenydd Business Park in Caerphilly and currently employs more than 200 staff in Wales.

Landlord Second Horizon was advised in the transaction by commercial property consultancy Knight Frank.

The tenant was represented by Asset Plus One.

Alan MacDonald, head of people and culture at Link Financial Outsourcing, said: “We were delighted to find an office so close to our previous one, minimising the relocation and disruption to our employees.

“We are looking forward to maintaining and accelerating our growth, and continuing to provide a quality and expert service to Europe’s leading banks and providers of credit.”

Mark Sutton, of Knight Frank, said: “Brecon House provides good quality space in a well-established business park location close to local amenities, public transport and quick access to major road links. The building was a great fit for Link.

“This is a significant deal in the local market and is the largest office letting in Caerphilly since 2011. The occupier market in South Wales has continued to improve with the supply of prime space continuing to dwindle in the major centres and business park locations.

“As we move out of what has been a favourable tenants’ market, we are recommending that occupier clients take advantage of expansion or relocation opportunities now in order to secure favourable terms.”
