Edwards Coaches, a family-run business of South Wales which has an outlet in Gwent, has been nominated for a series of awards at the National Coach Tourism Awards 2016.
The awards highlight and reward the most successful and high performing operators, within the coach tourism industry.
Edwards, which is in its 91st year of trading and fifth generation of ownership, has been shortlisted for Accommodation Provider of the Year, Holiday Programme of the Year, Coach Tour Operator Brochure of the Year, Coach Tourism Professional of the Year, Coach Tour Driver of the Year and Coach Tour Operator of the Year (Large fleet).
Jason Edwards, of Edwards Coaches, said: “It’s such a great honour to be recognised by the National Coach Tourism awards and it’s a testament to the hard work and passion shown by the Edwards staff throughout the past year.”.
The awards take place next month at VOX, Resorts World, Birmingham.
Edwards Coaches Ltd was established in 1925 and operates 210 coaches daily and employs 470 local staff. It transports 7,149 students daily across South Wales and provides 80,000 coach holiday passengers a year. The firm also operates National Express routes from South Wales of around five million miles per year.
