A Newport-based solicitor has been named as the first ambassador of an international fashion company which has relaunched its British website with a campaign aimed at business women.

Danielle Howell is a clinical negligence solicitor with Newport law firm Harding Evans. She also runs the networking group she founded in 2014 to promote and celebrate women, Sorelle.

She is now an ambassador for My Kind of Dress.

Online sales and marketing manager for the site, Sarah Corr, said: “Working with business women on a regular basis is so inspiring for our brand. We love to help celebrate their special occasions with our range of fabulous dresses.''

Developed by Miss Squiggles, a communications and marketing agency, the campaign puts business women in the spotlight to celebrate their efforts in the business sector.

Miss Squiggles’ director, Rose Sgueglia, said: “We strongly believe that women in business should be promoted and celebrated more. With My Kind of Dress, we are developing a safe platform to share women’s successful stories. It has been a pleasure to work with such a pioneering company and to have Danielle as our first ambassador. She was hard-working, smart and incredibly professional, the perfect face for our company.”

Danielle said: “I’m so pleased to have been part of the campaign representing business women in the UK. I think its very important that women encourage and inspire one another.”
