Newport-based award-winning training provider Acorn has been reaccredited for quality framework The Matrix Standard.

The three-year accreditation is a unique quality framework and benchmark for training providers to assess and measure their course material, information, advice and guidance services, which ultimately supports Acorn’s learners and apprentices.

Acorn was first accredited in December 2012, and following a successful three-year review, which included annual assessments, has been reaccredited for a further three years.

Lisa Mytton, head of quality for Acorn Recruitment, said: “We are absolutely delighted that we have been reaccredited for the prestigious Matrix Standard. We pride ourselves on having an excellent reputation for the training services we provide and this reaccreditation is testament to that.

“At Acorn we are fully focused on providing high quality training programmes to ensure both our clients and learners are receiving the best support to develop their companies and career paths. And of course with the Apprenticeship Levy due to come into force in April 2017, it’s now more important than ever for employers to understand the benefits of Apprenticeships to ensure they achieve a definitive return on investment, so everything Acorn delivers must exceed all quality standards.

“Over the last 13 years, Acorn has developed a wide range of bespoke and accredited courses tailored to meet the needs of all types of organisations and learners in a number of industries, including leadership & management, IT, retail, insurance, banking, accountancy, business administration, customer service, warehousing and manufacturing.”
