A charity golf day hosted by a Newbridge-based electronics manufacturer has raised more than £2,500 for a leading military charity.

The annual event hosted by Axiom Manufacturing Services at the Celtic Manor Resort was attended by more than 50 of company’s clients, suppliers and business partners from across the UK to raise money for Help for Heroes.

The iconic veteran’s charity works to deliver an enduring national network of support for British servicemen and women who have been injured in the line of duty.

David Davies, managing director at Axiom Manufacturing said: "Help for Heroes is an excellent organisation that does incredible work for veterans and their families.

“Our annual charity day is a unique chance to come together for such a worthy cause. I want to thank all those who attended and participated in the valuable fundraising.

“We’re proud of the work we do to bolster Britain’s defence sector, and so to be able to support Help for Heroes in any way we can is extremely rewarding for us as a team.”
