Derek Brockway, weatherman and TV personality will be the speaker at the next meeting of the City of Newport Business Club on Thursday, October 6.
The club meets at the Celtic Manor and hosts a series of events each year, with the aim of bringing local business people together to network, as well as enjoying good food and drink.
CNBC chairman Dan Goulding said: “We are delighted that Derek will be our speaker on October 6.
"He’s a familiar face to all of us as a TV presenter and has enjoyed a varied and interesting career as a meteorologist. We are really looking forward to welcoming Derek and listening to him recount some of the highlights of his career so far.”
