Kitchen and bathroom tile retailer Narduzzo Kitchens is taking a second unit at Maesglas Industrial Estate in Newport following an excellent year of trading.

Narduzzo Kitchens has agreed a lease for 2,160 sq ft (200.6 sq m) of industrial accommodation at the industrial estate, which is managed by JLL and owned by Arundel House Estates Limited.

Robert Narduzzo, owner of Narduzzo Kitchens, said: “Narduzzo Kitchens are delighted to have secured the neighbouring unit to our existing premises on Maesglas Industrial Estate. Due to increased sales and the requirement for additional warehousing, it has long been our aim to seek a local warehouse within the estate.

“Furthermore, with the growth of our sister company Stone Haus Ceramics, which specialises in tile specification for architects and Interior designers, the new warehousing facility will bring a distribution centre vital to the continued success of both of our companies.”

JLL is the sole letting agent for the industrial estate, which is located around 1.5 miles from Newport city centre, and provides tenants with excellent transport links to Junction 28 of the M4 via the A48. Some existing occupiers within the estate include The Royal Mail Group, Screwfix and Howden’s Joinery.

Laurie Hanlon, graduate surveyor at JLL in Cardiff, said: “Maesglas Industrial Estate continues to maintain high occupancy levels with only three of 26 industrial units available. The estate has proved to be a highly sought after location for trade counter occupiers as it offers an impressive blend of excellent transport links to the M4 and attractive unit design.”

The three remaining units range from 2,160 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft in size.
