Torfaen Means Business, which brings together a wide range of local businesses, charities, and the public sector to demonstrate the best that Torfaen has to offer, is being held on March 1 at the Congress Theatre, Cwmbran.

The business and lifestyle showcase has been organised by the Best of Torfaen.

The St David’s Day event will be opened by Lynne Neagle, Assembly Member for Torfaen, who said: “I am looking forward to opening Torfaen Means Business 2017. It’s an exciting event, and a fantastic opportunity for local business owners and entrepreneurs to meet and share experiences. Torfaen’s small and medium enterprise sector is vital to our future prosperity and local employment. I urge anyone with an interest in starting or developing any kind of business in our area to come along.”

Torfaen Means Business features a wide range of businesses and organisation from all sectors – leisure, lifestyle, sports, education, and business services. Many of Torfaen’s most recommended businesses will be there, with several ranked among the best of their sector in a recent national awards.

There will be everything on display from florists and entertainers, to massage therapists and gourmet coffee sellers, plus business services - from web designers, printers, and marketers, to IT suppliers, copywriters, and bookkeepers. Refreshments will also be available at the venue on the day.

Torfaen Means Business runs from 10am-2pm on Wednesday, March 1 at the Congress Theatre in Cwmbran Shopping Centre. The event is open to the public, business owners, entrepreneurs and anyone interested in starting a business. Entry is free on the day.
