Cwmbran-based law firm Rubin Lewis O’Brien will be present at the Carers Rights Day being held at Newport Centre on Wednesday, November 22, from 10am to 2pm.

Solicitors and staff from the firm will be present to give any advice or guidance on a range of issues to assist those who act as carers for family members, friends and loved ones.

Damian Lines, partner and head of the firm's wills, trusts and probate team, said: “We are honoured to be showcasing our business at this fantastic event. Being a carer is a demanding responsibility, so this event goes a little way to support those who do such a stellar job looking after those with physical and mental issues. We hope we can offer advice on a broad range of topics; so please do come up and say hello. We look forward to meeting members of the public at our stand during the course of the day.”

The event is organised in partnership between Newport Community Connections and Newport City Council and will see more than 20 businesses and organisations from in and around the city be on hand to those in need of help, or for those simply looking for information; all completely free of charge. A buffet and refreshments will be made available for attendees, as well as pampering sessions and relaxing massages for carers.
