School raises money for Haiti

PUPILS at a Caerphilly primary raised several hundred pounds for the victims of the Hiati earthquake disaster by dressing in the colours of the rainbow.

The children at Plasyfelin Primary held a special 'Rainbow Day' where each class dressed in one of the colours of the rainbow.

All of the pupils who took part brought in a donation and they managed to raise an impressive £350 for the disaster appeal fund.
