A SPATE of apparently random arson attacks taking place on cars parked in Hounslow has now caused more than £19,000 worth of damage.
In the most recent attack, in Cardington Square, Hounslow, a one-year-old Vauxhall Corsa had flammable liquid poured over its bonnet and was set alight, causing damage to its paintwork.
Previously, at the end of August, three cars were targeted in the same way causing a total of £13,000 of damage.
Police would like to speak to three teenagers seen in the area after the earlier attacks. All are described as between 14 to 18 years old. The first is white, of medium build, between 5’3’’ and 5’6’’ tall. The second has ‘‘light black skin’’, with a ‘‘slightly chubby face’’ and short dark hair. The third is a black 5ft 6ins male.
