Solar panels plan for new Caerphilly library

A PLAN to put solar panels on the new library in Caerphilly has been submitted by the developer.
Developers Carter Lauren Construction have submitted the plan to install 78 panels on the south and west of the new building.
The former Post Office building in the centre of Caerphilly was demolished to make way for the state-of-the-art premises housing a library, and other community facilities.
The plans were announced in February last year but the building work has yet to begin.
Architect's drawings show the building will house a range of facilities including a modern library, a Caerphilly borough council customer service centre, a heritage centre together.
