Police appeal after two attacked on bridge

POLICE are appealing for help in finding the attackers of two men on the Calzaghe Bridge in Newbridge.

The incident occurred between 12.30am and 12.45am on July 6.

Two men and two women were walking across the bridge when they were approached by four men.

The two men were assaulted and sustained facial injuries requiring treatment at the Royal Gwent Hospital. The two women were unharmed.

One of the offenders was wearing an orange t-shirt and another was wearing a blue and white striped t-shirt. They were all white, of average build and in their late teens/early twenties.
