Appeal after number plates stolen
POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of number plates later used in a crime in Newport.
Officers are investigating the theft of the plates from Central Street, Pwllypant, Caerphilly, on Friday October 24.
A vehicle bearing the number plates was involved in the theft of a disc cutter from Spytty Road, Newport, and a concrete breaker from Portmanmoor Road, Splott , on Saturday October 25.
If anyone recognises the man pictured, who police want to speak to in connection with the thefts, they are asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 313 25/10/14.
