FOLLOWING reports of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in Lansbury Park and Caerphilly, there will be a 48-hour dispersal order starting at 5pm tonight in both areas.
Officers will move groups who are hanging around inthe following areas:
LANSBURY PARK
Atlee Court, Buxton Court, Snowdon Court, Hartshorn Court, Graham Court, Wedgewood Court and Maxton Court and the area known locally as 'the stretch' (a pedestrian walk way that runs through Lansbury Park Estate) - this will be to prevent any trouble taking place.
CAERPHILLY
Cardiff Road, Bartlett Street, White Street, Market Street, St Martin's Road, Station Terrace (Inc. bus station) , Salop Street, Van Road, Broomfield Street, Twyn Car-park and Centre, Windsor Road, Pentrebane Street, Stockland Street, Bradford Street, Ludlow Street, St Fagan's Street, Park Lane, Crescent Road, Claude Road, King Edwards Terrace, Railway Terrace Rhymney Terrace, Castle Court Shopping Centre to include all adjoining and unnamed lanes, alleyways, thoroughfares and car parks and all Caerphilly Castle Grounds - again, this will be to prevent any trouble taking place.
If anyone returns to that area after being moved on, they may be arrested.
Both dispersal orders will end at 5pm on Sunday 21st December 2014.
