TORFAEN Council is supporting Cyd Cymru - the Wales-wide collective energy switching scheme which could save residents money on their energy bills.

Registration is now open for the next energy switch.

Cyd Cymru / Wales Together helped over 1,500 households in Wales switch to a specially negotiated cheaper energy tariff last year; saving them an average of £185 per household.

Cyd Cymru / Wales Together is a collective energy switching scheme which brings people together and negotiates better energy deals on their behalf.

The more people that register and group together the bigger the savings they can make.

You can register now for their next collective energy switch, with no obligation, by calling the contact centre on 0800 093 5902.

Register online before Sunday, March 1 or call them on before Friday, February 27 to ensure that you are part of the next collective.

When you register, it would be helpful if you have a recent energy bill to hand (gas, electricity or both) to help answer some of the questions.

You will be sent the specially negotiated energy tariff offers when they are ready in March.

You will then be able see how much you could save and how the offers compare with other tariffs available on the market.
