STUCK: South Wales Fire and Rescue Service decided against attending Machen mountain this morning.
A CAR became stuck in mud on the side of Machen Mountain in the early hours of this morning.
A South Wales Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said they received a call at 4.31am after a car got stuck in mud on the mountainside.
She added the fire service did not attend and advised the driver to contact a vehicle recovery company.
