TWO cars were 'deliberately' set on fire within five miles of each other in Caerphilly county borough over the weekend.
From Saturday evening to Sunday morning, firefighters from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service put out both blazes.
The first car fire took place late Saturday night on Mynydd Islwyn with a crew from Aberbargoed using hoses and lighting equipment.
The blaze was put out shortly after the crew arrived at 9.36pm.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, firefighters from Duffryn attended a car fire in the car park on Mill Street near Risca & Pontymister train station.
The crew put out the blaze after arriving at 2.54am.
