CASTLES in Wales will come alive this weekend.
The Welsh Government’s historic environment service (Cadw) presents a full programme of family events this Bank Holiday weekend.
From April 29 to May 1 a number of events will take place across the country including re-enactments and fun activities.
Ken Skates, cabinet secretary for economy and infrastructure in Wales, said: “2017 is Visit Wales’s Year of Legends, so what better way to enjoy a Bank Holiday weekend than with a visit to one of Wales’s most legendary historic sites?
“We hope that Cadw’s jam-packed itinerary of family events will encourage locals and tourists alike to explore Wales’s captivating monuments this May Bank Holiday.”
Visitors to Cadw sites are being encouraged to share their experiences on social media by using the hashtag #LivetheLegends.
