RETAILER Next has issued a product recall on a pair of children's sandals.
The product has been recalled due to one type of bead on the sandals failing testing.
In their statement issued on their website, it said: "We have identified a problem with the above sandals.
"Unfortunately, it's come to light that one type of bead on the sandals has failed testing.
"As the sandals don't meet our strict, technical specifications, we've taken the decision of recalling them, and are requesting they are returned to us for a full refund."
Buyers are asked to call Next on 0333 777 8185 to arrange a collection, or return them to a store.
"If you have given this item as a gift, please ask the recipient to contact Next," it said. "We're very sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience caused, but we hope you'll understand that customer safety is our highest priority."
