A BRICK was hurled at a gritting lorry which had been out on the roads in Caerphilly, smashing its windscreen.
Caerphilly County Borough Council has issued an appeal for information after the incident on Sunday evening in Phillipstown, New Tredegar.
Caerphilly council tweeted: "We’re really sad to report that this happened to one of our gritters on Sunday evening in Phillipstown.
"A brick was thrown through the windscreen. The police have been informed."
