FIVE MINUTES WITH: Welsh entertainer Max Boyce  If you had to be stuck in a life with someone, who would it be and why?

Nelson Mandela, after reading his book and seeing how he came out of the prison without an ounce of bitterness its inspiring.

What is your biggest fear?

Walking on stage with nobody in the audience Do you have any superstitions?

Not terribly but I won't look at a full moon through glass. If I have to then I will run outside and look at the moon to match it. If there are clouds then I am all over the place!

If you could only have one song on your iPod what would it be and why?

Oh that is impossible. It would have to be Time to Say Goodbye. Wonderful wonderful song. At Sydney Opera House a young singer named Katherine Jenkins didn't know it when I asked her and within a year it was her single!

What's the most expensive thing you've bought not including your property?

Mercedes sports car.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

If you are gonna do something give it your total commitment.

What's your indulgence?

White wine.

What item could you not live without?

My banjo.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be and why?

I can be impatient and indecisive.

Where are you next going on holiday?

I am going to Naples in Florida, USA for a golfing country club holiday. The beach is only three kilometres away.
