Alun Williams and Charlie Rawlins with the winners trophy
A TEAM of martial arts experts from Risca won DVD of the year award at Europes largest martial arts exhibition.
The Risca five and their instructor Alun Williams, 41, appear in the DVD, showing off their martial arts moves.
The film allows viewers to study the moves from five different angles, pointing the area of the body affected Mr Williams said: "This highlights the fragility of the body and the necessity for proper training."
The group also held work shops for audience members in self defence moves and basic training.
The team took home a glass statuette from the awards ceremony in London last Sunday and intend on competing again next year.
