  • "They meddle with things they don't understand just so people think they're doing something. The NHS in particular has suffered from political meddling, according to most sources it has been in a constant state of change and reform since it was set up in the late 40's.

Except the politicians no-one has had a say in the NHS since then either, complaints are handled by the NHS, there is no democratic accountability despite one in ten of our tax pounds going on it."

What hope?

First published in Letters

LABOUR MP Ann Clwyd has criticised the Welsh Government for not answering her concerns about the standards of healthcare in Wales.

She has been scathing about the state of the Welsh NHS.

The Cynon Valley MP, who has previously spoken out about the poor care her husband received in hospital, said she outlined complaints in a letter to First Minister Carwyn Jones but she is still waiting for a response.

If this is how Labour in Wales responds to a senior Labour member and politician what hope have the common voter have?
