RAYMOND DOMENECH, the France coach, has vowed to pick the brains of Rangers manager Paul Le Guen ahead of the Euro 2008 qualifier against Scotland in Glasgow.

France play Scotland a week tomorrow having begun with victories over Georgia and World Cup winners Italy.

Looking ahead to the Scotland match, Domenech said: "I will probably give a call to Paul Le Guen to get some advice about Scotland. And I can talk to [former Rangers defender] Jean-Alain Boumsong, too."

Domenech cautioned his players against complacency after the stirring 3-1 win over Italy. He said: "We played a fine game against Italy and now we have two matches to play. We need three points against Scotland and three points against the Faroe Islands, and not a draw on Saturday [against Scotland] and then three points the week after. I am taking every game as it comes.

"I consider the game against Scotland as a battle. They play well and not only with an aerial game."

William Gallas was named in the France squad but the defender has a hamstring injury and might not make it.
