U7s RUGBY: Oakdale 12 Deri 6

OAKDALE U7s travelled up the valley to Deri where we received a warm welcome. Oakdale won the toss and started the game which saw Dylan Jones score from the whistle, shortly followed by Gabriel Jones going over for the second try.

There was some excellent tagging by the Dale preventing Deri from scoring and the third try of the game went to Oliver Cooke.

They responded with a try shortly followed by Evan Williams going over for his first of four tries of the game. Deri managed to beat the strong Dale defence to score.

Ethan Sullivan took some great tags allowing turnover ball and Thomas Gregory scored. William Davey had some good attempts at tagging and was rewarded with a try for the Dale. Deri responded with a few more tries before William Morgan weaved his way through the defence to score.

The last phase of the game saw Ethan Paterson make a great interception to score his second try of the game.
