Caerphillly football team's problems worsen with 43-0 loss
1:43pm Tuesday 12th March 2013 in Sport
A CAERPHILLY ladies' football team suffered a 43-0 defeat on the weekend that would have been embarrassing for a rugby team, let alone a football side.
Caerphillly Castle Ladies went down by the mammoth scoreline to Cardiff Metropolitan Ladies in the Women's Welsh Premier League.
Unfortunately coaches and players could not put it down to a rare off-day, as they have also suffered 36-0, 28-0 and 26-0 defeats during what has been a tough season to date.
A mass player exodus has left the team facing difficulties and their solitary goal came in a 14-1 defeat against Caernarfon Town.
In all, the team has scored that one goal while conceding 219 in their 10 games so far.
