NEWPORT’S miserable season continued after they were humiliated away at Llandovery as they slumped to their fifth Principality Premiership defeat out of six.
Sven Cronk’s men have now shipped 193 points in the league which is an average of just over 32 a game.
The Black and Ambers were competitive in the first half and trailed by 20-14 at the interval.
But they were pointless in the second 40 minutes when they were blown away and conceded six tries in total.
Newport scored one unconverted try through hooker Dale Rogers while full back Geraint O’Driscoll kicked three penalties.
