  • "Absolutely dire, the worst I have seen for years. Don't our players know that the opposition can't run without their legs? Does our number 10 know where the white lines are? Do they know what colour shirts their team mates wear? Does our coach have any idea?

Newport 11 Cardiff 21

NEWPORT slumped to their third defeat in four Principality Premiership games after Cardiff did the league double over them with a win at Rodney Parade.

The Black and Ambers, for the second week, running failed to even get a losing bonus point from a game they hosted.

Rory Budina got a try for the home side while Geraint O’Driscoll kicked two penalties but their biggest rivals won the day, scoring three converted tries.
