Thomas demands stingy Dragons display

HOOKER Rhys Thomas wants Newport Gwent Dragons to show their mean streak against Glasgow at Rodney Parade tomorrow afternoon, writes Chris Kirwan.
It rained points in the corresponding fixture last season but unfortunately the Warriors scored 60 of the 63 total.
They crossed eight times on a torrid night for the Dragons but they got their revenge on their trip to Scotstoun in the autumn when they triumphed 23-8.
"Glasgow rely a lot on individuals to break tackles and offload," said Thomas. "We need to stop them at first phase, then we are confident that our defence can keep them out.
"They play quite a loose game and if we don't make our tackles and stop them getting over the gain line then they will be a big force.
"We beat them up in Glasgow when our territorial game and defence was too good for them. Hopefully it will be the same again.
"They had a really good win against Cardiff last week and are a strong team but we are confident that we can beat anyone at home."
Glasgow will complete a clean sweep of away wins in Wales if they triumph at Rodney Parade following successes at the Scarlets (17-12), the Ospreys (28-16) and Blues (27-20).
