WALES 1 UKRAINE 1

WALES’ women remain second in World Cup qualifying group six after coming from behind to earn a point against third-placed Ukraine at Parc-y-Scarlets.

Olga Boychenko's close-range header gave the visitors the lead after just seven minutes in Llanelli.

But Wales fought back well and they earned a precious point when striker Natasha Harding fired home the equaliser 13 minutes from time.

The result leaves Wales three points above Ukraine who have two games in hand.

Only one team qualifies from each group with the best four second-placed teams going into a play-off for a chance to reach the tournament in Canada in 2015.

England are runaway leaders at the top of group six having beaten Wales in October.
