THE Welsh regions provide seven members of the RaboDirect Pro12 dream team for 2013/14, writes Chris Kirwan.

The Scarlets trio of full-back Liam Williams, scrum-half Gareth Davies and tighthead Samson Lee get the nod along with Cardiff Blues’ Munster-bound number eight Robin Copeland and the Ospreys’ trio of Canadian wing Jeff Hassler, lock Alun Wyn Jones and fly-half Dan Biggar.

Two of that group will end the season on top of the tries and points charts, Davies having crossed the whitewash 10 times and Biggar having amassed 204 points.

Newport Gwent Dragons have only ever had one player selected in the dream team, flanker Colin Charvis in 2006/7, despite several impressive seasons by Taulupe Faletau and wing Aled Brew crossing for 12 tries in a stunning 2010/11 campaign.
