FOR the second year in succession Nelson lost the Bernard Martin Cup Final in a game which could have gone either way.

In a very even, goaless first half Aber looked dangerous from set pieces and crosses into the box while the Nelson were playing the better football and created several openings which they failed to convert.

Joel Davies came closest as he forced a good save from the goalkeeper from a powerful header from a corner.

Both sides refused to conceded and ground as both sides looked to gain the upper hand, Nelson fell behind just before the hour from a corner which wasn't cleared and the striker fired low into the net despite Nelson having three players on the line.

Nelson continued to create the clearer chances but failed to convert the chances they fell further behind near the end as Dynamo Aber completed the treble following their other cup and league success.

A disappointing result for Nelson but they can be please with their performance.
