NEWPORT Gwent Dragons Under-18s enjoyed a fine victory against their Northampton counterparts at Franklin’s Gardens on Wednesday.
Wing Lloyd Lewis scored a hat-trick and full-back Gareth Jones and lock Max Williams also crossed the whitewash in a 34-24 success.
“It was a brilliant win and a terrific achievement,” said team manager Angie Prangell. “The boys played really well and did themselves proud against a very strong Northampton side.”
The Dragons host London Wasps at Ystrad Mynach on Monday (kick-off 1pm).
