THERE will be a derby double-header at Rodney Parade on Easter Saturday with Newport Gwent Dragons’ European quarter-final against Cardiff Blues followed by Newport’s clash with Cross Keys.
The regional rivals face off in the last eight of the Challenge Cup at 12.45pm, televised on BT Sport, and the Principality Premiership encounter is slotted in for a 3.30pm kick-off.
The second game will be free of charge for ticket holders of the cup encounter but Newport and Cross Keys supporters can buy tickets for that encounter only.
It will be a busy weekend for the Rodney Parade groundstaff because Newport County host Hartlepool in League Two on Good Friday (kick-off 3pm).
