JOHN Dickie Construction has been awarded contracts worth more than (pounds) 13m. The company will design and construct a three-storey teaching building for Reid Kerr College, Paisley. It will also demolish the Tannahill building on the same campus. Dickie said the project is worth (pounds) 9.25m and will take 63 weeks to complete. The firm has also been appointed by the University of Paisley to carry out alteration and refurbishment of several buildings. The project is worth (pounds) 2.45m and is scheduled to start later this month. KPMG, the accountancy group, has chosen Dickie.int, the company's specialist interiors division, to refurbish 33,000 sq ft of office space in West George Street, Glasgow. The contract is worth (pounds) 1.7m.
