A POLICE sergeant has been suspended on full pay after failing a
breath test after a car crash. The crash, which happened while the
officer was on duty, was reported to police by a member of the public
and the detective sergeant was breathalysed when he returned to the
station. A police spokesman said the detective was involved in a minor
accident with a parked vehicle while driving an unmarked car in
Rochester, Kent, on December 23.
