Eddie May’s side are still searching for their first win of the season but picked up their fourth goalless draw of the campaign against Hearts on Saturday.

Flynn is his side’s top scorer with two goals – one in the Europa League match with Liechtenstein’s FC Vaduz – and insists he and his team-mates have not got what they have deserved so far this term.

With St Johnstone next up on Saturday, the winger confesses it is time to land their first three-point haul, no matter how it is earned.

He said: “We’ve obviously not picked up a win yet but I’m sure it will come. We’ve had a lot of good performances this season but we’ve not got a victory.

“It would be nice to pick up three points to get that monkey off our backs. Performances have been good but it’s all about getting a win now. We’ve got to stick together and make sure we start picking up points.”
