THE risks and rights of passive smokers will be discussed during the

forthcoming seminar in Glasgow, part of the third annual Health

Promotion Symposium. Phillip Whidden of the Association for Non-Smokers

Rights will examine the latest mounting evidence that the health of

non-smokers can be seriously affected by those of their smoking family,

friends, or colleagues.

Organised by the Disease Prevention Organisation, the conference will

take place at the Walton Conference Centre, Southern General Hospital,
