AIR UK, Britain's third largest scheduled airline, yesterday

introduced a new aircraft on the Aberdeen to Stavanger route to mark the

20th birthday of the service. A Fokker 50 prop jet, which can carry 50

passengers, has been bought and the company says this indicates its

commitment to the area. The same type of aircraft is also to fly the

Aberdeen to Norwich route, and will be introduced on Aberdeen flights to

Teeside, Humberside, and Bergen this summer
