THE effectiveness of Scottish housing regeneration programmes over the
last 20 years are to be reviewed in a #110,000 research project.
The study, announced yesterday by Scottish Homes, will take one year.
A team of housing experts led by Dr Douglas Robertson of Stirling
University will centre their research on the 1533 Scottish Housing
Action Areas set up since 1974 to tackle poor housing conditions in some
older communities.
