Solider in sex assault trial

Swindon Advertiser: Southwark Crown Court

An army sergeant accused of sexually abusing female recruits will stand trial at Southwark Crown Court today.

Edwin Mee, 45, of Tavistock Road, Croydon, south London, allegedly targeted 11 victims aged between 15 and 25 on military bases.

The Scottish soldier denies 17 counts of sexual assault, three rapes and one count of assault by penetration.

Oscar winner Christoph Waltz has dismissed rumours he is playing the classic supervillain Blofeld in the latest James Bond film spectre.

The Django Unchained star will be sharing the screen with Daniel Craig's 007 in the film which will be released later this year.

The Iconic Alien from Sir Ridley Scott’s classic, of the same name, has been voted the best film monster.

The creature got its first outing in 1979 and has appeared in several sequels with a new film starring original star Sigourney Weaver in the offing.
