FORWARDS Scott Baldwin and James King have signed national dual contracts with the Ospreys and the Welsh Rugby Union.

Hooker Baldwin, 27, and back rower King, 25, both featured in Warren Gatland’s squad at the World Cup.

Baldwin was preferred to the Scarlets’ Ken Owens in all five games, taking his tally of caps to 15, while King made his seventh international appearance against Uruguay at the Millennium Stadium.

The former has signed a four-year deal through to 2019 and King has agreed terms for three years.

"Both players have been an important part of our Rugby World Cup squad and as young men entering the prime years of their playing careers, they will be an important part of the future of the Wales team,” said Gatland.

The latest signings join Wales captain Sam Warburton and Gareth Anscombe (Cardiff Blues), Rhys Webb, Dan Lydiate, Alun Wyn Jones, Dan Biggar (all Ospreys), Scott Williams, Jake Ball, Samson Lee, Rhodri Jones (all Scarlets), Tyler Morgan and Hallam Amos (both Newport Gwent Dragons) as NDC players.
