NEWPORT Gwent Dragons boss Kingsley Jones has made seven changes to his XV for the Guinness Pro12 trip to Treviso.

After being edged out 20-16 by Munster at Rodney Parade, the head coach brings in plenty of fresh faces for the fixture at the Stadio Monigo.

As revealed in the Argus earlier this week, Ashton Hewitt is back from injury on the right wing with Hallam Amos captaining the side on the other flank.

Adam Warren returns in midfield while Charlie Davies makes a first start of the season at scrum-half and tighthead Lloyd Fairbrother, lock Cory Hill and flankers James Thomas and Nic Cudd come into the side up front.

There are six changes on the bench with hooker Rhys Thomas back from a neck problem while lock Matthew Screech, back row Harri Keddie, scrum-half Luc Jones, centre Sam Beard and full-back/fly-half Geraint Rhys Jones return.

The Dragons have not won on the road in the league since beating Treviso in March 2015 but have taken a calculated gamble by resting influential overseas players Brok Harris, Sarel Pretorius and Nick Crosswell.
