NEWPORT Gwent Dragons will bring Wales lock Cory Hill straight back into the fold for Saturday’s Guinness Pro12 clash at Leinster.

The 24-year-old will feature at the Royal Dublin Society after making his Test debut against Australia and then featuring in the wins against Japan and South Africa.

He will return as Dragons lock Matthew Screech suffered a head injury in last Sunday’s win against Edinburgh and is unlikely to be involved in Ireland.

Wing Ashton Hewitt (bruised hand), hooker Rhys Thomas (dead leg), loosehead Sam Hobbs (toe), centre Sam Beard (dead leg), Ed Jackson (hip) also suffered blows against the Scots.

Wing Tom Prydie, centre Adam Warren, hooker Elliot Dee, prop Thomas Davies, lock Rynard Landman and back row Harrison Keddie are among those poised to return to the fray.

“These injured players would be able to take part if it was a cup final but with a short turnaround and travel we will see changes,” said head coach Kingsley Jones.

“We’ve got five games coming up (Leinster, Worcester twice, Cardiff Blues and the Ospreys) that we really want to win and the best chance we have is by using players who are fit and ready to go rather than play those who haven’t prepared and are carrying bumps.”
