Lee Selby pulls out of title defence

ST JOSEPHS boxing star Lee Selby has been forced to withdraw from tonight's defence of his British and Commonwealth featherweight titles due to illness.

The Barry fighter, who trains with Tony Borg in Newport, was suffering from a heavy cold earlier in the week and after it became worse last night he will not take on Martin Lindsay in his home town of Belfast.

After seeing the doctor this morning 25-year-old Selby was deemed unfit to box this evening.
