SWANSEA v BEDWAS

IF ABERAVON have their problems then their big rivals Swansea just a few miles down the road are in an even worse pickle.

League leaders Bedwas will look to capitalise on the mess the All Whites find themselves in when they visit St Helen’s tomorrow afternoon for a top v bottom clash.

Swansea have just one win and 11 defeats to show for their efforts so far in the Premiership.

Steve Law’s men on the other hand have been sublime and lead the pack by two points, although they have played two more games than second-placed Pontypridd who should put away Carmarthen Quins at Sardis Road tomorrow with something to spare.

Bedwas will also be looking to bounce back from an unexpected defeat last week in their British and Irish Cup back-to-back clash with Stirling County.

The Gwent side seemed to have done the hard work by winning 32-22 in Scotland the week before only to lose a 26-25 thriller at Bridgefield on Saturday, the visitors scoring a late converted try.
