BRITISH & Irish Lions hopefuls Dan Biggar and Ken Owens won't be the only Welsh rugby players reaching appearance milestones today – Ebbw Vale flanker Ronny Kynes will as well.

As fly-half Biggar and hooker Owens both bring up 200 matches in Ospreys and Scarlets colours respectively, Kynes plays his 150th game for the Steelmen.

RGC 1404 provide the opposition for Kynes and his Ebbw teammates at Eirias Park in Colwyn Bay (kick-off 3pm), as both sides try to secure a play-off berth in tier one of the Principality Premiership.

Back-rower Kynes has been a prolific try scorer since moving to Eugene Cross Park, with Ebbw's effective rolling maul off lineouts known as the 'Catch and Kynes'.

He crossed the whitewash a record 19 times last season as skipper Damien Hudd and his men captured the Premiership title, and a few more scores this afternoon would come in handy.

Newly-crowned Foster's Challenge Cup champions Bedwas host Llandovery at Bridge Field (2.30pm).

Steve Law's team are third in the table after four games and can really stake their claim for a top-four finish with a third straight win in all competitions.

Ross Wardle and Matthew Pettit return from the injuries that kept them out of last weekend's cup final triumph.

However, George Lee and James Richards have not recovered from their knocks so in come Nathan Hudd and James Thomas.

Rory Budina gets the nod on the right wing as Pat Lewis takes a rest following a try-scoring appearance in the Welsh Varsity match.

In tier two, Cross Keys lead the way courtesy of a 100 per cent record from their opening four matches.

They travel to Neath (2.30pm), who they have beaten in league and cup this term, in the hope of extending their advantage at the summit.

Ross Pritchard starts at scrum-half for Keys, Joe Goodchild comes in at full-back, and Jacob Unwin gets a rare start in the centre.

Hooker Rob Jones, lock Tom Lampard and flanker Rhys Fitzgerald feature up front, while Josh Skinner and Lloyd Lewis are on the bench after long-term injuries.

At Rodney Parade, Newport search for a third win over Swansea this season (2.30pm).

Fly-half Matt O'Brien and hooker Will Evans both return from injury to take their places among the Black and Ambers' replacements.

Meanwhile, Bargoed travel to Parc y Scarlets tomorrow to tackle Llanelli (2.30pm).

Bargoed have only played twice since the league split.
