NEWPORT County AFC are set to complete the signing of Swansea City striker James Loveridge on a one-month loan deal.

The Wales Under-19 international has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Premier League outfit but did play seven games on loan at MK Dons last season.

County say the deal is not done yet but Loveridge, aged 20, should be available for Saturday's game at Oxford United.

He will be the second Swansea player to join County on loan in the past week following defender Scott Tancock's arrival at Rodney Parade last Friday.

Midfielder Lee Minshull is doubtful for the trip to the Kassam Stadium, while defender Ryan Jackson is set to miss out.

Defender Kevin Feely is fit again after a toe injury, while centre-back Andrew Hughes serves the final game of his three-match ban for his red card at Shrewsbury Town.
