STRENGTH and conditioning coach and former defender Tony James is the latest man out of the door at Newport County AFC.
James, who helped the Exiles to promotion to League Two in 2013 before retiring later that year, follows goalkeeping coach Ryan Mackerness and 13 members of the playing squad in leaving Rodney Parade this week.
"Newport County can confirm the departures of goalkeeping coach Ryan Mackerness and strength and conditioning coach Tony James," said the club in a statement on their official website.
"Both coaches have played an integral part of the success of Newport County in recent years, with Tony James also playing a big hand in County's promotion to the Football League as a player.
"Newport County AFC would like to thank both coaches for their services, and wish them well for the future."

The future of Wayne Hatswell, first team coach under Justin Edinburgh and Jimmy Dack, remains unclear but new manager Terry Butcher is thought to be keen to bring trusted lieutenants Russell Osman and Steve Marsella to the club.
